
971 Mechanical Engineering delivered the mechanical installation of an AutoStore automated storage and retrieval system at a distribution facility in Rotherham. The project included the installation of the AutoStore grid structure, vertical steel framework, and the integration of workstations and access points required for high-density robotic storage and picking. Our team worked within a live industrial environment to assemble and align the structural and mechanical components that support the AutoStore robots and bin handling system, creating a compact, high-capacity storage solution designed to maximise floor space, improve picking accuracy, and increase overall operational efficiency.
